Randy is Chief Information Officer, and Senior Vice President Innovation & Strategic Development for Delaware-based, Christiana Care. Randy has served on the adjunct faculty at The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Since 2011, he’s chaired the nation’s first and most advanced health information exchange, the Delaware Health Information Network. He is a Director and Treasurer for the non-profit Tech Impact; and served as Advisor and Senior Fellow to the venture capital firm, Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE), and a member of Cerner’s Strategic CIO Council. From 2012-2015, Advisor, Siemens Medical Solutions.

Prior to Christiana, Randy was SVP, CIO and Strategic Development Officer for Teleflex (NYSE), a global provider of medical devices, where he also held responsibility for logistics, operational excellence and strategic supply chain. His CIO experience spans high-reliability industries, from aviation to automotive, to medical devices and led IT teams through $5B of M&A. Distinctions include: Information Week’s “Twenty Great Ideas To Steal,” Computerworld’s “Premier 100 IT Leaders,” the American Hospital Association’s “Most Wired,” and a four-time awardee of CIO Magazine’s “CIO 100.” HealthTech Research Alliance & Council nominated Randy as “Healthcare Innovator of the Year.” CIO Magazine editor-in-chief, Maryfran Johnson named Randy as an “exceedingly rare, triple threat CIO” – A CIO that is equally talented at “managing, problem solving and driving revenue. ”Randy holds degrees from Temple University and Dartmouth College.
